In the diner where coffee refills are far as the eye can see, the indie queen rules. Writing poetry and creative short stories at the bar so she can lift a hand, signaling the request for more coffee, with ease. In a room full of truckers, she stands out like a flower among weeds. Laughing gently at their jokes while fending off marriage proposals cause every day is all the same. Same jokes, same coffee, different men, different stories. One day she’ll leave this town and be a poet, or a star. Just as soon as she find a trucker en route to LA.
